地貌学史述要

OUTLINE OF THE HISTORY OF GEOMORPHOLOGY

戴维斯地理（地貌）循环学说与彭克山坡梯地学说的建立，使地貌学从自然地理学与地质学中分出成为一门独立的学科．叶良辅、袁复礼、任美锷、周廷儒、丁、吴尚时、王德基、徐近之、叶汇等的地貌学教学与研究，使地貌学在我国得以建立与发展．经陈述彭、施雅风、李吉均、崔之久、朱震达、丁锡祉、杨怀仁、沈玉昌、陈吉余、曾昭璇、罗来兴、严钦尚、许世远、王颖等的努力，建立起有中国特色的中国地貌学．台湾与香港地貌学家刘鸿喜、石再添、张瑞津、苏泽霖亦有贡献．

The independence and development of geomorphology weremade by W.M. Davis (1850￣ 1934) for his theory of Cycles of Gromorphologic Erosion, W.Penk (1888￣1923) for his Geomorphology Analysis, L. King for his Cliff Paralle Retreat Theory, and K. K. Markof for his Basic Questions of Geomorphology. In China, Guide to Geomorphologic Studies by Yie Liangfu (1894 ￣ 1949), Geomorphology by Ding Su, Geomorphology by Yuan Fuli (1893￣1987), Geomorphology by Ren Meie, Landform Divisions by Zhou Tingyu, South China Landforms by Wu Shangshi, all above have contributed to the early development of geomorphology.In contemporary, Geomorphologic Mapping with Remote Sensing by Chen Shupeng, Glacial Geomorphology by Shi Yafong, Li Jiejun & Cui Zhijiu, Estuary Geomorphology by Chen Jieyu, Geomorphologic Erosion by Yang Huairen, River Geomorphology by Shen Yuchang, Regional Geomorphology by Ding Xizhi, Tropical Geomorphology by Zeng Zhaoxuan, Oceanal Geomorphology by Wang Ying, all of these theories have creative ideas, forming the Chinese characteristic of geomorphology.
