A summary on the development Of polymerizedferric sulphate is outlined in this paper.The process of manufacture of polymerized ferric sulphate was analyzed and the reaction mech-anism transforming ferrous sulphate into polymerized ferric sulphate under the condition ofacidity by oxidation,hydrolysis and polymerization etc. were discussed,which provides a the-oretical basis for optimizing reaction conditions and improving the quality(ie. alkalization de-gree)of polymerized ferric sulphate.
