本文研究了由马来酸肝与苯乙烯先聚合、后磺化的合成马来酸酐与苯乙烯磺酸共聚物的工艺路线。该共聚物是一种优良的水质稳定剂。此外，对于磺化工艺做了一些探讨与研究，得到了无须低温条件，即可得到线性磺化产物的方法。

The copolymer of maleic anhydride and styrene sulfonic acid was synthesized by copolymerization of maleic anhydride and styrene and then sulfonized.The sulfomation conditions were studied and the linear sulfonating product was obtained.
