The paper reports a method of synthesis for a new meso-tetrakis-(3-bromo-4-hydroxy-5-methoxyphenyl)porhyrin reagent.The physicochemical properties,analytical characteristics and its color reaction with metal ions were also studied.The prospects of application have been shown.
