In this paper,the thermal denaturation of human serum albumin in phosphate buffer solutionwith different concentrations of copper (Ⅱ)ion were studied by differential thermal analysis (DTA) method.The results showed that the denaturational temperature(Td)and the denaturational heat(Qd)increased with an increasing order of copper concentrations, which suggested that copperion could inhibit the thermal denaturation of human serum albumin.Another endothermal peak before thermal denaturation of the protein was also observed in the thermograph ,which the peak temperature (Tn)increased and the peak area decreased with the in crease of copper concentration.
