The linear combination method of absorbances was used to determine the contents of ChineseTraditional Patent Medicines such as Zuojin Wan,Wuji Wan,etc.The styles of combination andextraction were studied in order to establish a analytical method.At the same time, we compared thismethod with that documented in Chinese Pharmacopoeia,The Linear Combination method ofabsorbances can eliminate error from interferences。This method is accurate,simple and can be used toanalyse some medicines with complicated components。
