动画技术在仿真中的应用是近年来系统仿真领域的发展方向之一。机车制动机系统是机车上的一个关键而又复杂的系统，针对机车制动机的特点，作者介绍了一个实用的利用计算机生成动画来进行制动机原理教学的示教系统，并详细介绍了其仿真原理和方法。
One of the developing tendency in system simulation is the application of image technology.With locomotive brake system being a key and complicated part on locomotive,the paper,in the light of itsfeatures,presents a practical brake mechanism teaching system illustrated through images made by computer,and describes its simulation principle and method in detail.
