摘要
ＭＨＳ是ＣＣＩＴＴＸ．４００系列建议提出的一种基于计算机和通信网的存储转发方式的消息处理系统，目前已在世界范围内得到广泛的应用。本文介绍了按照该标准实现的一个ＭＨＳ实用系统，具体讨论了该系统的组成结构和各模块的功能，描述了该系统的设计技巧，并对该系统的汉化方案和远程ＵＡ的设计及其实现进行了说明。
MHS is a computer and communication network based store and forward message handling system described by CCITT X.400 recommendation. It is now widely used in the whole world. This paper gives a description of an applicable Message Handling System in accordance with X.400 of 1988. specifically discusses the composing structure of the system and the function of each module, and finally explains the implementation plan of Chinese characteristic for the system and the realization of RUA.
