摘要
1987～1988两年在杭州采用莲鞭扦插法代替传统的种藕繁殖,结果表明,莲鞭扦插具有下列优点:1.节约种藕.扩大繁殖系数.加速良种繁育.2.提高藕田复种指数,3.延长嫩藕上市时间.4.所结的藕体大小比较均匀,适宜作种藕.
Experiments on Ictus ( Nelumbo nucifera ) propagation by stolon cutting instead of the traditional method by rhizome were carried out in Hangzhou during 1987-1988. Results showed that stolon cutting had the following advantages. 1 ) Much less propagation material was required per unit area of planting. 2 ) The fresh rhizome may be harvested from September until next spring so that the marketing time could be prolonged and the cropping index thus be increased in this paddy field area. 3 ) The lotus rhizome obtained from such a kind of cutting was more uniform and more suitable for large seale planting.
