This essay mainly introduces the function and negative effect of flame-retarded materials and analyzes fireproofing measures used in television receivers.According to the safety standards of Australia and China and through contrast burning test of television receivers, we reach the conclusion of that the use of low-grade flame-retarded materials can not only decrease a series of problems caused by fire resistance material, but also meet the requirement of the safety standards.
