《龙虫并雕斋琐语》是我国著名语言学家、翻译家、诗人王了一一组小品文的汇编,它真实地反映了四十年代大后方中国社会的世相人情和政治黑暗,被称为是“生活的实录”。在语言上具有浓郁的古典风格和朴拙美,既做到了文字雅驯,中西结合,又注重科学逻辑,字字推敲,形成了独具的语言特色。

Wangliaoyi was a famous Chinese linguist, translator and poet. His prose collection Long Chong Bing Diao Zhai Suo Yu , which is regarded as “a vivid record of life”, reflected the social phenomena and political corruption in China＇s non - occupied areas in 1940s. The language in the collection carries a strong classical flavor and simplistic beauty with its grace being fused with oriental and occidental cultures, while its careful diction and scientific logic are also stressed.
