Reflections on Consummating the Central Bank's Function of Financial Stability

维护金融稳定,不仅关系到经济安全,更关系到社会与国家的安全,其意义重大。中国人民银行要全面履行维护金融稳定职能,一应全面把握金融稳定的内涵;二应按《中国人民银行法》的相关条款规定,明确自身履行这一职能的主要内容;三是基于目前经济金融领域存在的影响金融不稳定的因素和问题,应有针对性采取必要的措施;四应配套地做出一些制度安排。

Ensuring financial stabilization has a prominent impact on the economic safety, and the social and national safety as well. To perform the functions of stabilizing the finance comprehensively, firstly we must fundamentally understand the accurate meanings of financial stability. Secondly, we must identify our responsibility to bring this function into line with the corresponding regulations of the Laws of the People＇s Bank of China. Considering the factors and problems that influence the financial stabilization in the financial industry, thirdly, we must adopt some indispensable approaches pertinent to the stability. Finally, we must make considerate and compound arrangements for financial stability.
