An Experiment on Chatting-Room Aided English Teaching

依据建构主义学习理论,通过对英语实时聊天室辅助教学进行实验,认为英语实时聊天室能吸引学生积极参加到语言交流活动中来,减少学生交流时的心理压力和精神压力,增强学习者的语言接触量和输出量,提高他们的语言交际能力。英语在线同步聊天是较为可行的教学方法。

This paper, based on Constructivism, introduces the operating methods and procedures of an experiment on chatting-room aided English teaching and concludes according to the survey and result analysis： chatting -room aided English teaching can greatly attract students into active language activities, reduce their psychological and mental pressure, enhance their language contact and language output as well as their language communicative ability, so it is a practical teaching method.
