This article through reviewing the related reference in China and other countries, introduced the concept, theory and progress of job characteristics,summarized the research findings and directions for further research on job characteristics in the recent years,analyzed and described the job characteristics which influenced nurses＇ job satisfaction,which aimed to provide reference for job design and effective nursing human resource management.
