The hydro-informatization means the wide application of the modern information technique in the national hydro-businesses and the all-round increase of the efficiency and effectiveness of the hydro-activities. The 3S techniques are the main technical measures for realizing the hydro-informatization. This paper introduces the contents and features of RS, GIS, GPS, and probes into the application of the 3S techniques in the hydro-informatization.
