In the basis of practical coordinates of any point on the road two sides, this paper brings up a good way, which can calculate a most closed point′s coordinates near to that point in midline. And in practice, we can measure it out very quickly. The layout methods and software, which are both the applicants of these theories mentioned above, have very high worthy to the highway midline measuring and quality survey.
