Selection and Application of Large Diameter Steel Pipe Piles for Donghai Bridge

通过对东海大桥桥墩基础1200mmPHC管桩和1500mm钢管桩设计使用状况的对比分析,论述了外海桥梁基础桩型选择所需要着重考虑的因素,并结合施工过程中沉桩质量及工期对桩基的选择提出了较详细的分析依据,通过东海大桥变更海上段基础桩型的事例,分析了PHC管桩和钢管桩的适用条件和范围。

Based on the comparison and analysis of the design and application of φ1200 mm PHC pipe piles and φ1500 mm steel pipe piles used for the pier foundations of Donghai Bridge,several factors that should be considered in particular in the pile type selection for bridge foundations built in sea are described, and the detailed analysis bases for the pile type selection are provided as well in accordance with the piling quality and working time schedule in the construction.Finally, the applicable conditions and ranges of PHC pipe piles and steel pipe piles are analyzed through the case study of the varied pile types for foundations of Donghai Bridge in sea.
