On the Cultural Difference from the Perspective of the Non-equivalence of English-Chinese Acceptation

语言是文化的主要载体。英汉两种语言中的词汇承载着两种不同的文化信息，英汉词义的非完全对应性反映了不同的文化内涵，以及宗教信仰、地理文化、文化意象、大众心理文化等方面的差异。就英汉词汇中的非完全对应性现象进行研究，从而探讨和论述两种不同的语言所反映出的文化差异。

Language is the essential carrier of culture. The glossary of both English and Chinese carries different cultural information, which can be shown in religious beliefs, living environment, cultural images, social and psychological peculiarities. This paper examines the phenomenon of non-equivalence of glossary in both English and Chinese, and thereby discovers the cultural difference they reflects.
