At first,The design principle of traditional involute cylindrical gear driving and fuzzy reliability are analyzed in this paper. Then, The fuzzy set theory was applied in the reliability design of in involute gear, the choice of the slave function was analyzed, The calculation formula of the fuzzy reliability was founded. Finally, the examples were given to illustrate it.
