Modernity and the History of Chinese Philosophy

从现代性理论的视野上来看,中国哲学史学科是在中国古代世界解体的背景下,出于对现代性问题的感应而产生的。但该学科产生之后,由于纠缠于思想的民族性辩护,将“中西问题”等同于“古今问题”,从而错失了对现代性问题的敏锐感知与积极回应。该错失既不利于中国哲学史学科与国际哲学界的对话交流,也不利于其“合法性危机”问题的解决,中国哲学史学科的发展须直面、担当现代性问题。

From the viewpoint of the theory of Modernity, The history of Chinese philosophy, emerges from its reaction to the question of Modernity under the background of the disintegration of Chinese ancient world. After its emergence, it mistakes the question of Chinese and Western world for the question of ancient times and modern times, and staggers the question of Modernity because of getting entangled inthe national defense in thoughts. This staggering hinders the interchange between The history of Chinese philosophy and the world of international philosophy, and does no benefit of resolving the problem of legality.
