从经济增长角度审视高校扩招

A Research on the Increasing Enrollment of Higher Education from the Point of View of Economy Developing Regularity

连续5年的高校扩招,为经济持续发展提供了人才资源保障,但高校扩招应遵循教育自身发展的规律,借鉴外国的经验教训,处理好高等教育大众化中数量和质量的关系,不能一味追求速度。未来的高等教育将从“精英教育”向“大众教育”发展,必须稳步地适度地扩招,兼顾速度与质量,才能避免扩招所带来的副作用,完成高等教育大众化的目标。

The increased enrollment of college and university in the past five years accorded with the developing regularity of social economy, and supplied the need of its continuing development for human resources. The increasing enrollment should follow the developing regularity of higher education. While the higher education is becoming more and more popularized, we should attach importance to both its quantity and quality, apart from minding its increasing speed. In the future, the increasing enrollment will impel higher education into a more popularized one for the majority rather than the one just for the minority in the past. The enrollment should increase steadily and moderately, keeping its quality, so that we can avoid its side effect and fulfill the target of higher educational popularization successfully.
