摘要
本文整合了传统区位理论和新经济地理学理论有关边境区位的研究,构建了在开放经济条件下边境区企业集聚的分析框架,提出了一个包括要素成本、空间联系成本、交易成本、市场拓展、优惠政策等影响因素的集聚机理分析模型,运用该理论框架对美—墨边境区企业集聚进行了解释。
The emergence and recently rapid growth of agglomeration of the economic activities in border regions in an opening economy is striking and in many ways a unique phenomenon. In this, how to explain it with the locational analysis approach is an important and interesting to pic toeconomic geographers. However, traditional location theories stressed the border - location in a closing economy and national borders artificially and spatially cut up complementary regions from central places, so that based on these theories, border regions had to face sparse economic activities. Thus far, although new economic geographers have observed agglomeration of the economic activities in border regions in an opening economy, they have not set up a useful explanation. This paper, based on setting up a mechanism of enterprises' agglomeration in the border region, analyses the border location by the means of integrating traditional location theories and that of the new economic geography. In this, agglomeration of the border region can be summed up the mechanism of enterprises' cost and marketing strategies. Therefore, the framework is convinced by explaination of the agglomeration case in the US - Mexico' border location.
