Focusing on the problems occurring in the field of web-based curriculum development, this article analyses the concept of web-based curriculum, web-based instruction platform, network courseware, and the relation between them. It expounds the fundamental principles that we have to follow in the process of developing web-based curriculum, which will contribute to the efficient quality improvement of the web-based curriculum development.
