the popularization of the tertiary education and the current social requirements for the talent cultivation have brought about new requirements for the traditional student management in universities, especially the work on guiding the students＇ behavior and morals and on fostering good studying habits. The paramilitary approach has been adopted in 2001 at Zhejiang Wanli University. Through years of exploration and practice, notable achievements have been made. And in this paper, the specific procedures and enlightenments obtained from the practice will be discussed in detail.
