This article discusses the development of Chinese traditional color view from “five colors” ,“five elements” , “good luck and warding off evils”, and points out that modern design should be based on the deeply understanding of the traditional color view＇s influences on the modern people, then we could appropriately convey the related themes through combining the products, environment and the objects.
