哈尔滨速滑馆的屋盖结构是一个由中央圆柱面壳和两端半球面穹顶组成的巨型网壳，复盖面积８６．２×１９１．２ｍ．是目前国内最大的网壳结构、本文是对这一屋盖结构设计的简要介绍。

A huge lattice shell designed to cover a 400 meter speed-skating track is built in Harbin for the 1996 winter Asian Games.This huge shell consists of a central barrel vault with two half-domes at both ends,and has a pseudo-elliptical plan with an overall area of 86.2×191.2m.At present,it is the largest roof structure in China.This double-layer lattice shell adopts quadrilateral pyramid net system for the central barrel vault and triangular pyramid net system for the two half-domes,all the mesh sides being about 3m.The height(thickness)of the double-layer shell is 2.1m and the steel consumption of the structure is about 50 kg/m2 in projection area.
