Universal serial bus is a new interface bus architecture for PC, which supports the PnP function of PC＇s peripheral equipments and has been widely used in computer and communicational devices. To realize the PnP function of intelligent instruments and the high integration of the whole system, USB technology is adopted. This paper probes into the core technique of USB Host, and discusses the feasibility of applying USB technique to intelligent instruments.
