对提高大学生英语阅读能力的思考

Thought about Improving the Reading Abilities of the College Students

阅读是一个复杂的语言与思维相互作用的过程,是掌握语言知识,打好语言基础,获得信息的重要渠道。阅读能力是大部分学生今后工作所需要的主要语言技能。那么如何迅速有效地提高大学生的英语阅读能力就成为各位教师的迫切任务。经过教学实践,笔者认为只有巩固语言知识(指导学生进行大量的课外阅读,引导学生猜测词义)和掌握阅读技巧(快速阅读的技巧、预测技巧、语篇分析技巧等),才能从根本上提高大学生英语阅读能力。

Reading is a complicated process of language and thinking reacting on each other . It is the main method of mastering language knowledge ,laying the fundation of language, and gaining the information. Then how to improve the reading abilities of the college students quickly and efficiently？ The author offers her own approach after the teaching practice. Only by strengthening the language knowledge （to guide the students to have a lot of extracurricular reading, to make a forecast rhe meaning of the words） and grasping the reading skills（the skill of the fast--reading,the ability of forecast, the ability of analyzation about the article, etc） ,can students improve their reading abilities completely.
