Qiongxiang Liangyou No.1, a new two-line hybrid rice with high yield and good grain quality

琼香两优1号系用海南省农科院水稻所育成的优质新资源籼型香稻光温敏核不育系琼香1S(原名GHS)与广东省农科院水稻所选育的优质常规品种粤丰占配组而成的两系杂交香稻新组合.在海南作早造种植,全生育期125～135d,一般每公顷有效穗270～300万穗,每穗总粒数135～155粒,结实率72%～80%,千粒重24.1g.米质优,具茉莉花香,绝大部分检测指标达国标优质米二级以上标准.2004年12月通过海南省品种审定委员会审定.

Qiongxiang Liangyou No. 1 is a new two -line hybrid combination matched by Qiongxiang-1S, a quality indica PGMS line bred by Rice Research Institute, Hainan Acabemy of Agricultural Sciences, and Yuefeng, a fine quality conventional rice variety developed by Rice Research Institute, GDAAS. In Hannan＇s conditions, the hyhrid matures completely in 125-135 days in early cropping, and measures 2.7-3.0 million productive panicles per hectare, 135-155 grains per panicle, 72%-80%seed setting rate and 24.1 grams of 1000 -grain weight. The rice quality of the hybrid is high with jasmine sweet -smell and most of its indexes are over second degree of the State Rice Quality Standard. This hybrid combination was certified and registered by Hainan Committee for Crop Variety Registration in December 2004.
