摘要
宋明理学是一个学术传统,其所讨论的问题,使用的术语,有着鲜明的特色。“气质之性”在宋明儒学中是一个很突出的观念。这一观念在北宋提出,后被朱熹特加表彰,以为极有功于圣学,之后的学者则对气质之性提出了与前人完全不同的看法。这些学者认为性即是气质之性,而“气质之性”即是气质的“性”。
Sung-Ming Li-Xue is a learning tradition dealing with some special questions that had not been discussed before. The philosophers reexplained the terms in Classics and advanced some new terms. The concept of “Qi-zhi-zhi-xing” is significant in Sung-Ming Li-Xue The concept is first used by Zhang-Zai, and the Er Cheng also explained human nature in terms of “Qi”. Zhu-Xi believed his predecessors had made great contribution toward the sage-learning. Later scholars disagreed with Zhu-Xi. They concluded that nature means the nature of “Qi”, and so the meaning of the concept of “Qi-zhi-zhi-xing” is just the nature of “Qi”.
