Characteristic construction is the necessary choice for the development of higher vocational schools. Hebi College of Vocational and Technology has made some explorations on constructing specialities characteristics, science and technology characteristics, administration characteristics and enrollment characteristics, etc. The college has improved its characteristic construction, and has got great development by taking lots of measures, for example,organizing a special leading groop and a research institute, adopting vivid working systems and administrative systems, making encouraging measures, and enlarging input of manpower and fund.
