摘要 1962年,Charnley首先采用了金属-超高分子量聚乙烯(Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene,UHMWPE)人工髋关节.自那以后,这一配伍成为人工髋关节领域中的黄金标准,一直延用至今.然而,金属-UHMWPE关节的缺陷多年来为人关注,并已成为人工关节在体内长期存留的主要障碍.这一缺陷便是聚乙烯(Polyethylene,PE)的磨损.根据多方体内、外研究的报告,在金属-UHMWPE人工髋关节中,后者的线性磨损率平均约为0.1 mm/year;容积性磨损率平均约为55 71 mm3/year[1].尽管比起骨水泥固定全PE臼或生物固定臼PE内衬的整体来,这些数字并不算大,然而重要的是这样的磨损产生了上亿的PE碎屑.激发了由多种细胞介导、众多细胞因子参与的生物反应,最终导致了假体周围的骨溶解.而在许多早期成功的人工髋关节置换中,骨溶解成为假体松动的肇始因素,从而限制了人工关节在体内的长期存留[2].
