安东尼·吉登斯以其结构化理论成名于当今社会学理论界,而他的自我认同理论却很少受到关注。文章阐释了吉登斯自我认同理论所认为的“本体安全”是自我认同过程的生长点的含义,分析论述了本体安全通过婴儿早期经验获得以及通过习惯和惯例维护和加固的过程,借以对吉登斯的自我认同理论进行解读。

Anthony Giddens is one of the most distinguished sociologists in academic circles with his structuration theory. But his self-identity theory is seldom noticed. This paper explains the meaning of ontologxcal security , which serves as the starting point of the process of self - identity, and analyzing that the individual gains his/her ‘ontological security＇ through the earlier experience when he is an infant, and that the ‘ontological security＇ is maintained through habits and convention, so as to interpret Anthony Giddens＇ self- identity theory from the point of ‘ontological security＇.
