江南水乡传统建筑遗存保护方法研究——以江阴市南门古街道保护设计为例

The Preservation Methods for Architecture Heritage in the Yangtze River Delta: Taking the Preservative Design of Ancient Urban Blocks and Streets at the Southern Gate in Jianying as an Example

以江阴市南门风貌区规划设计实践中的古街道保护设计为例,探索城市化进程中的建筑遗存保护方法。试图从城市意象出发,总结一种整体性的、适合于江南中小城市建筑记忆延续和城市快速发展两方面的保护方法——城市空间历史形态的结构性保护。

Based on our urban design project in Jiangyin, this paper tried to present the methodology on traditional urban blocks and streets preservation in urbanization process. Proceeding from urban context, the paper attempts to summarize a holistic preservation method： Structural preservation of historical blocks and streets, suitable for memory extending and fast urban development of medium and small cities in the Yangtze River Delta.
