后显关系是在后组式检索系统中,主题词轮排后产生的诸语句与被标引文献主题之间的关系。其性质有三:(1)同义关系;(2)主题转换;(3)歧义关系。歧义的产生多在主动句向被动句转变的过程中,语义的变化不是语法变化引起的而是违背了语法规则导致的。后显关系反映的是语法关系的不同变化。为保证同义关系功能词的采用是必要的。

The post display relation refers to the relation between the sentences created after the permuted descriptors and the topics of the indexed literature. It has three aspects of nature： （1） synonymy; （2） flexibility between descriptors, and （3） ambiguity. The ambiguities are mostly created in the transformation process from active to passive sentences. The semantic change is not caused by the grammatical change, but by the violation of the grammatical rules. The post display relation reflects changes in grammatical relations. It is essential to ensure the adoption of synonymous functional words.
