Analysis and Evaluation of Dual-Switch Forward Soft-Switching Converter Topology

摘要 双正激变揣器广泛应用于中、大功率场合。为了提高变换器的功率密度和效率,必须提高开关频率并减少开关损耗,这就要求开并管工作在软开关方式。本文系统地分析了双正激变换器软开关拓扑的主要工作原理、优缺点和应用场合,并选取一种新型的双正激软开关组合变换器拓扑作为高压直流输入航空静止变流器的DC DC级拓扑,成功研制了一台4KW的原理样机,并给出了实验结果。 The dual switch forward converter is widely adopted in medium to high power applications. To achieve high power density and high efficiency,switching frequency must be greatly increased, and meanwhile, switching losses must be reduced. As a result, softswitching techniques must be adopted. This paper presents a detailed review of these techniques. The main operation principles,merits, limitations and applications of these soft-switching topologies are analyzed. Based on the analysis and evaluation, a novel dual-switch forward combined converter is taken as the DC/DC converter for high voltage dc input Aeronautic Static Inverter. A 4KW prototype is successfully developed, and the experimental results are also included in this paper.
