日本妇女自获得参政权以来,已有近60年的历史。然而日本妇女的政治地位仍然很低,既无法同西方发达国家相比,也落后于以中国为首的大部分亚洲国家。为什么在如此发达的国家里,作为占国民人口一半的妇女的政治地位会如此低下?本文试就此问题,从日本政治、经济、传统文化和社会环境等方面进行全方位、多角度的分析论述,力求找出日本妇女从政落后的深层原因。

It has been 60 years since Japanese women have got the suffrage. But the political position of Japanese women is very low. Japan is one of the advanced countries in the world. The paper tries to find out the deep reasons of Japanese women＇s low political position through analyzing from different views in politics, economy, traditional culture and social environment.
