持久性毒性物质散播到全球环境中,威胁生态环境的稳定和人类的健康。本文介绍了环境持久性毒物的定义、来源及分类,归纳了环境持久性毒物对人群及动物的健康效应相关研究中的关键问题,重点阐述了持久性毒物流行病学方面进展和实验室研究,讨论了其毒性作用类型、影响因素、作用机理和甄别持久性毒物的方法。

Persistent toxic substances （PTS） have been .scattered to the whole world, which threatened the ecosystem＇s stabilization and human health. This paper introduced the definition, source, classification of environmental PTS. It concluded the pivotal factors of adverse health effect of PtS. The advance of epidemiology and lab experience of PTS were expatiated on and the toxic effect, influencing factor, mechanism and screening method were discussed also.
