摘要
语言结构是一种普遍化的支配力量,话语即权力的产物。文章运用福柯的话语理论论述了话语与权力的逻辑关系,对英国著名小说家毛姆的短篇小说《午餐》中“我”与女士之间的话语权力关系进行了阐释,并且揭示了他们之间的话语权力游戏及话语权力的消长。
Language structure is a prevalent dominating power. Discourse is the product of power. This thesis applies Foucault＇s discourse theory to analyze the logical relationships between discourse and power. It sheds some light on the nature of discourse and power in Maugham＇s short story The Luncheon and demonstrates the game of discourse power and its ebb and flow.
