优化课堂教学模式,提高学生自主学习能力——一次高级英语课堂教学改革的实验

摘要 教育部根据我国改革开放和现代化建设的需要,对我国高校外语专业的教育改革提出了复合型培养模式的发展战略和方向。高校的教改实践在教材上实现了很大的突破,而占主导地位的课堂教学所存在的缺陷却日益凸现。笔者以英语专业高级英语课程课堂教学改革为突破口,通过优化课堂教学模式,探讨课堂教学为自主学习服务的现实方法。实验结果表明:新的教学模式能够调动学生积极情感因素,培养学习策略,促进学生自主学习能力。 Active involvement of students in their own learning processes is highly conducive to effective learning. In this experiment, The Advanced English course is composed of two parts: strategy training in classroom and taskbased research after class. The purpose of the reform is to develop learner autonomy. Data collection was conducted mainly through questionnaires, pre-and post-examination papers and individual interviews. The results, which are analyzed with quantitative and qualitative methods, show that 1) the learners' autonomous awareness has greatly improved; 2) learners have employed learning strategies more frequently; 3)development of learner autonomy is helpful in improving learner's learning achievement.
