本文叙述了鄱阳湖候鸟保护区的自然特征和保护措施。由于鄱阳湖所处的地理位署和地形，所以具有丰富的水和热气候资源，有丰富的水陆动植物资源，保护区有优越的候乌栖息生活条件，有一个美好的环境，区内冬季气候温和，平均气温在５．０℃以上，平均水温为６．２℃，平均水位为０．２～０．６ｍ；目前水质较好，鸟类资源丰富，有珍禽鹤类群，分析了鄱阳湖夏凉冬暖产生的原因。

This paper described the nature characteristics and protectiue measuresof the Poyang lake protected zone of migratory birds. Owing to the landforms andthe geographic location of Poyang lake. It has rich water and heat resources,rich in water,land plant and animal resources,a good condition for the migratorybirds to roost,a pretty enuironment and a mild climate in winter in the zone. The average temperature is above 5.0℃,average water temperature is 6.2℃, average water level is 0.2 0.6m,the water quality is pretty well nowaday, richin the resources of birds category, there are else fowls as crane category overthere. This paper also analysed the causes of warm in winter time and cool insummer time in the poyang lake area.
