The Design of Flash Memory Card Based on CPLD Control

This paper introduces a design of Flash memory card suitable for EPP interface. Firstly,the signal definition and handshake protocol of EPP interface were introduced briefly. The paper focuses on the idea of circuit design, its composition and the data structure of Flash memory card, which is based on EPP interface using Flash chip of SST39VFO16 and large scale programmable device of CPLD. Finally, it provides the points for attentions in programming. The result shows that the method using the Flash memory card for data storing is flexible and reliable.
