轻动词和汉语不及物动词带宾语现象

Light verb syntax of intransitives containing objects

以往各文献对“不及物动词带宾语”这一结构的认识均未能准确地反映这种语言现象的事实。生成语法的轻动词句法理论为这种结构提供了新的分析思路。本文假设这种结构中有一个轻动词,这个轻动词在词汇关系结构中选择一个NP和VP分别作为它的标志语和补足语后投射到句法的底层结构,随后,底层结构补足语VP中的动词和轻动词合并生成表层结构。该结构轻动词假设的依据来自不及物动词的使动用法和被动句。

This paper argues that there is a light verb inserted in the construction of Chinese intransitives containing objects and that the light verb is the eventuality predicate of the event structure of the construction. The verb selects an NP and VP as its specifier and complement respectively in the lexical relation structure (LRS) located in the lexical representation of grammar. The LRS projected by the light verb is then mapped onto the syntactic component of the grammar or the syntactic underlying structure, from which the syntactic surface structure of the construction is derived by incorporating the V of the complement VP into the light verb. This conceptualization of the light verb can account for not only the causative use of Chinese intransitives but also the bei-construction.
