Long-Period Gratings Inscribed in Photonic Crystal Fibers

摘要 介绍在光子晶体光纤(PCF)中写入长周期光栅(LPG)的几种方法,研究基于PCF的LPG的传输特性及其与光栅结构的关系,分析了基于PCF的LPG的温度、应力特性和对环境材料折射率的不敏感性。 Some fabrication methods are demonstrated to inscribe long period gratings (LPG) in the photonic crystal fibers (PCF). The propagation characteristics of the PCF-based LPGs are discussed in detail, which includes the relationship between the propagation characteristics and the LPG structure parameters, such as the grating period, the modulation depth and the length of grating. The effects of some environmental elements, such as the temperature, the stress and the external refractive index, are also illustrated.
