摘要
本研究以自主语言学习模式和网络辅助教学为理论框架,设计了一个基于Web数据库的英语自主听力系统, 通过实验方法检验中国中等英语水平的学习者使用这一系统进行听力训练的效果.作者把186名学生分成实验组和控制组,实验组在教师远程指导和监控下利用系统进行了为期4个半月的听力训练.通过对两组精读和听力成绩前测和后测的数据统计分析,结果表明利用这一系统的训练有助于提高学习者的听力水平.
A study was performed to explore the effectiveness ot listening learming with, a Web-based Self-access Learning System, which was designed on the basis of the language teaching theories of SAIL and IALL. 186 intermediate learners were divided into experimental group and control group; the experimental group have practiced with the system for four and a half months. The statistical data of the pre-test and post-test of the intensive reading and listening in two groups shows that learners significandy improved their listening proficiency under the learning context of the system.
