通过大量的试验，研究了年轻烟煤在制样过程中因加热而导致的水分和其它参数（如挥发分和发热量）的变化，确立了一种制样干燥方法，即粒度小于3mm的煤样，在40～50℃下干燥1．0～1．5h，然后使粒度〈0．2mm的煤样与大气达到平衡状态．

Through a great experiments, the variation of moisture content and other parameters such as volatile matter and calorific value of young bituminous due to heating during sample preparation was studied. A drying method for sample preparation was established that is the coal sample which size is below 3 mm is heated under temperature of 40 - 50 ℃ for 1.0 - 1.5 h, then allow the sample which size is below 0. 2 mm to attain equilibrium with the atmosphere.
