Motive and Tactics of Compliments Quan Zuwang Gave to Heroes in Ming Dynasty

全祖望在《鲒亭集》中顺应了清初统治者借宣扬忠孝节义以笼络人心的需要,巧妙地借为《明史》增补史实,对明末忠烈之士的事迹作了详细的描述,热情讴歌了抗清志士的高风亮节,其中既有其坚持民族气节的因素,也与其史家强烈的责任心相关。

In Jieji Tingji, Quan Zuwang did detailed description to the deeds of the heroes at the end of Ming Dynasty and sang praises of the noble character of the men against Qing governors. He did such works just meeting the early Qing governors＇ advocating loyalty, integrity and justice to cultivate people＇s good will, and strategically taking in honor of adding historical facts to History of Ming Dynasty. There were factors that he adhered to national integrity and strong sense of responsibility as well.
