摘要
法律文件的英汉翻译在中国发挥着越来越重要的作用。本文从四个方面归纳法律英语词汇的特点,即专业性、正式性、客观性及准确性,并进一步探讨具体的法律词汇翻译的方法和对策。
Translation of legal documents is now playing an ever - increasing role in China. This paper first surveys four primary characteristics of legal vocabulary, namely, professionalism, formalism, objectivity and exactitude, followed by a presentation and discussion of specific strategies and methods of translating legal vocabulary between English and Chinese.
