《战国策》中的策士凭着自己的智慧,在纵横捭阖的斗争中发挥过巨大的作用。然而他们的人生却是悲剧性的,这主要是由于策士的依附性、策士的高傲性格、策士游说的艰险、策士间的内耗及悲惨结局使然。

Making use of their wisdom, the tacticians in The Record of Warring States played very important roles in various struggles. However, because of their dependency, their arrogant characters, their hardships in lobbying, and the struggles among themselves, their life was often tragic.
