A New Perspective on Socialist Moral Realm

道德境界一般是指与人生观和道德理想相联系的人的思想行为和情操的状况及水平,是对道德生活的一种觉悟程度,是个体道德素质的综合表征。社会主义道德境界是基于社会主义物质生活条件,人们对道德生活的觉悟程度及其个体道德素质的综合表现。它是社会主义物质条件在社会道德生活中的必然反映,是以利益为基础的物质精神化、精神物质化互动结果的道德表现。

Moral realm generally refers to the thought and behavior and sentiment level related to a person＇s life view and moral ideology.It is a consciousness degree of moral life and a comprehensive representation of personal moral quality. Socialist moral realm is based on the conditions of socialist material life, people＇ s consciousness degree of moral life and the comprehensive representations of personal morality. Inevitably it is a reflection of socialist material life in social morality and the expression of morality in the process of materialization of spirit and spiritualization of material. It is the comprehensive token of people＇s morality and it must reflect social life from the perspective of morality. On the basis of above discussion, we hold the view that socialist material and moral realm is the required by the development of advanced productivity, that socialist spiritual moral realm directs the development of the advanced culture, and that the interest moral realm is in the fundamental interest of the mass.
